As a CCAR Vice President in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
The CIB Central CCAR and Earnings team within the P&A group is tasked with managing CIB CCAR P&L and Balance Sheet submissions, reviewing and adjusting model outputs for business scenarios, and explaining results and drivers to LOB CFO, CRO, and Corporate Finance teams. Additionally, the team conducts goodwill impairment testing for CIB, prepares quarterly earnings disclosures and 10Q/10K filings, and performs competitor analysis.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in the entire CIB CCAR/DFAST and Risk Appetite process, including managing CCAR Revenue Consolidation and Expenses Calculation. Consolidate CCAR financials for CIB to create the P&L view for internal analysis and lead Bank P&L modeling and execution. Conduct Macro Economic Variable (MEVs) analysis for the current cycle versus the prior cycle to understand its impact on LOB projections. Manage the FRY – 14A PLBS schedule based on Firmwide CCAR requirements and submit it in the neutron system. Perform Variance Analysis, PQ0 – PQ1 analysis, and provide answers to CCST questions post-corporate submission. Review and challenge model outputs for business and economic scenario intuition and consistency against budget. Support the preparation of CIB CFO review presentations, CIB Risk Appetite presentations, and CIB RC presentations. Model financial projections using statistical and quantitative tools like regressions and correlation analysis. Engage in technology initiatives to automate submissions, including ideation, UAT testing, and implementation. Prepare quarterly earnings disclosures, including Earnings Presentation, Press Release, and Earnings Supplement. Conduct competitor analysis covering financials, drivers, and strategies of major CIB competitors.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Minimum 10 years experience within the Financial services sector covering Financial Planning & Analysis, Forecasting and Budgeting, actuals monitoring Knowledge of Corporate and Investment Bank businesses and their behavior across economic scenarios Quantitative and Statistical skills and experience with Financial Projections modelling Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure Strong story telling skills to deliver the drivers and message to various stakeholders Technologically savvy with an ability to understand systems and their internal functionality Strong Microsoft Office skills (primarily Excel / PowerPoint)
