The Network Architect leads a team of professionals in the delivery of a reliable and scalable network infrastructure. While working with the team to manage and tune the existing platforms, this person performs high level analysis of the company’s needs to determine the appropriate solutions for its continued success. In addition, the Network Architect maintains the role as the primary point of escalation for on-going maintenance. This leader must maintain an appropriate level of communication within the IT organization and with key business stakeholders. Most importantly, the Architect must have a mindset of continuous improvement while continually delivering on commitments - often exceeding expectations for personal growth and support of the team and overall organization.


Qualifications:-

· Minimum of 7 years IP networking experience with significant design, deployment and troubleshooting within highly distributed and complex global networks.

· Expert skills and experience in the following areas:

· Cisco networking products including routing and switching lines

· Network security fundamentals with firewalls and identity based networking

· VPN (site-to-site, remote access, and DMVPN)

· Highly available distributed data center networking

· Traffic load balancing and site selection

· Network performance evaluation and optimization

· Quality of service implementations

· Detailed knowledge of networking protocols

· Thorough understanding of MPLS technology and WAN designs

· Ability to facilitate 24x7 support and escalation with on-call availability as required.

· Excellent client management resolution, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

· Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills
