CCTV Operator – Wastewater Team
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious CCTV Operator to join our team. In this role, you will conduct pipeline inspections using advanced closed-circuit television (CCTV) technology to assess the condition of underground wastewater infrastructure. Your work will be critical in identifying blockages, leaks, structural defects, and other issues that impact system efficiency and public health.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CCTV inspection equipment to evaluate underground storm and wastewater pipelines.Record and analyze video footage to identify structural defects, blockages, infiltration, and other pipeline issues.Accurately document findings and generate detailed reports using industry-standard software.Troubleshoot and maintain CCTV equipment to ensure peak performance.Collaborate with field crews, engineers, and supervisors to communicate inspection results and recommend repairs or maintenance.Follow safety regulations while working in confined spaces, hazardous environments, and near active water systems.Maintain organized records of inspections for regulatory compliance and future reference.Perform routine calibration and maintenance of CCTV equipment for accuracy and reliability.Assist with other field operations, such as sewer cleaning, smoke testing, and flow monitoring, as needed.Qualifications & Skills
Experience operating CCTV inspection equipment in the water/wastewater industry preferred.Familiarity with pipeline assessment software (PACP, MACP, or LACP certification a plus).Strong understanding of storm and wastewater pipeline systems, materials, and defects.Ability to interpret pipeline schematics, maps, and work orders.Technical proficiency with CCTV equipment, computers, and data management systems.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues through video footage analysis.Valid driver's license required.Confined Space Entry and OSHA safety training certification a plus.Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and extreme weather.Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Exposure to wastewater, confined spaces, heights, and hazardous environments.Must be able to lift, carry, and operate heavy equipment.Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and emergency callouts as needed.Why Join Us?
