Summary of Position : The CDL-A Driver is responsible to deliver and pick up food to ensure successful continuation of the food supply chain activities of the Food Bank of South Jersey. Position Responsibilities : + Stage orders for delivery at designated locations. + Contribute with other staff members to maintain the orderliness of all locations where product is stored and stages + Offload product in a safe manner. + Identify spoiled product and notify management at pickup location + At the end of the shift, communicate the work completed (and not completed) + Engage with all levels of FB staff + Operate forklift when assigned + Operate other FB equipment as assigned + Immediately report performance issues observed/experienced with any type of FB vehicle or truck + Immediately report any deficiency that prevents safe utilization of the CDL or regular driver’s license when applicable. + Assist with duties of order puller as required in order to fulfill the plan of the day (POD) + Responsibilities include assisting with the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility and vehicles as directed by management. + Perform all other duties as assigned. Education : + High School diploma or equivalent.
