Job Description

We are seeking a full-time CDL-A Driver from Monday-Friday, 6:00pm start time, some weekends, and over time. As a CDL-A Driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our client facilities

What you'll be responsible for: 

Operate a CDL-A class end dump or super roll off to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policiesSafely load and unload metal materials using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transitPerform manual tarping if necessaryPerform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working conditionProvide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries, interacting with customers and handling inquiries or concerns in a polite and helpful mannerAdhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Qualifications

To join our team: 

Valid CDL-A driver's license with a clean MVR and Medical CardMust be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53yd binsExperience driving 18 speed, manual transmission is requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience as an CDL-A Driver, preferably in a transportation or logistics settingExcellent driving skills and ability to navigate various road and traffic conditionsPhysical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as requiredFamiliarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
