About the role
SIGN-ON BONUS - $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)Competitive Hourly Pay Rate and Sign-On Bonus are Available for well-qualified candidates for this opportunity.

This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a team.
Primary duties involve driving, unloading, loading, and processing waste tires from trucks and trailers. Work is primarily performed outdoors, with the potential for exposure to the elements. Various chemical and physical agents are used, some of which may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, and compliance with applicable Acts and regulations.
Load and unload loads with the ability to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, and occupational health and safety.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct, and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
Check vehicles before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage.
Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Record and maintain required documentation, including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc., by manual or electronic means.
Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers verbally and in writing.
Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure the load is properly fastened down and secure.
Deliver products and proper paperwork to our customers courteously and timely.
Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of the truck is cleaned up.
Provide supervision feedback regarding customer, mechanical, or delivery problems.
Maintained truck's overall service and performed required inspections.
Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. This may include, but is not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, hours of service, etc.
Train others when required.
Work Conditions
Travel required.
Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
Overtime as required.
Weekend work may be required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED preferred.
CDL Class A or B Driver’s license is required
Must be 21 years or older due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
Minimum (2) years of commercial driving experience.
Must have basic computer skills and good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Kneeling, crawling, stooping, bending, or twisting for extended periods.
Walking and/or standing and/or sitting for extended periods.
Walking on elevated platforms or scaffolding
This position's expected hourly pay rate is $23.00 - $26.00.
This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary will consider various factors, including experience, ability, and location. Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
