We boast one of the largest inventories of modern lifting equipment in North America, in excess of 1000 units. With an increase in recent demand, we are in need of a CDL Crane Operator at our satellite location in Beaumont, TX.The crane operator is required to safely operate cranes efficiently and maintain a standard of accuracy that aligns with the company procedures and customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines ensuring the right selection and set up is made regarding crane, lift or hoist
• Inspects and assesses ground conditions as well as any possible overhead obstructions
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections, to include performance of routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities
• Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranesClass A CDLSuccessfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirementsDependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessaryMaintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipmentAbility to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructionsGood verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain recordsMust have strong ability work well within a team environment.Physical Requirements
