**Job Title: CDL Driver** **Job Description** Our Drivers are key employees who deliver our products to customers safely, completely, and on time. As a face to our customers, our Drivers exemplify the values of our organization, prioritizing safety above all else. **Responsibilities** + Comfortably drive large materials through mountainous terrain. + Drive local distances to deliver and pick up goods from construction sites. + Operate forklifts to unload building materials. + Hand load, unload, stack, and stage products. + Maintain records of activities, cargo deliveries, and hours logged. + Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and inform management of mechanical issues. + Keep the truck clean and presentable. + Report road incidents to management and follow accident procedures. + Adhere to DOT, state, and local traffic laws. + Plan routes using GPS systems to ensure timely arrivals. + Deliver superior customer service and inform management of customer concerns. + May mentor or coach junior drivers. + Perform other reasonable directives, responsibilities, and activities as assigned. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED. + Current CDL Class A driver’s license. + Minimum of 10 years of driving experience (negotiable based on terrain driving experience). + Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test. + Driving record that meets company standards. + Ability to pass all applicable health benchmarks and provide a medical certificate, unless exempted. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail with a distraction-free driving style. + Comprehensive understanding of logistics systems. + Personable demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service. **Why Work Here?** For over 75 years, we have built our name on service and quality you can trust.
