MAJOR FUNCTION:

Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of INSPIRA Behavioral Health participants. This includes transport of participants and any other transportation as deemed necessary. Responsible for overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis. Responsible for communicating any safety issue to the director/manager.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  
Education & Experience:

High School Graduate/GED required.  AA/AS degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year working with behavioral health clients required. Two (2) years of experience in a transportation setting preferred.  Experience with maintenance and oversight of vehicles preferred.  Experience with transportation computer software preferred. Requires ability to problem solve and respond to crisis situations appropriately. 

Certification/Licensure:    

Valid NJ Driver’s license required. CDL license with passenger endorsement required.  Safe driving record required. Current BLS American Heart Association preferred but required within introductory period. Physical Requirements:
