1+ years of hands-on truck/trailer driving experience Excellent customer service skillsFamiliarity of required documentation of vehicle and trailer inspections, logs, time cards, etc.Ability to set, level, and/or dismantle modular/mobile buildings using piers, pads, blocks, anchors, etc.Able to pass a DOT physical, or valid exemption set by DOT/DMV regulations if/as requiredPrevious experience working with hand and power toolsWorking knowledge of at least one or more of the following: electrical systems, carpentry, welding, painting, and plumbingValid CDL (Class A) and proven Class A driving experienceMust have the proven ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customerReasoning AbilityPerform work independently with little instructionWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, squat, kneel, lift, and operate machineryMust be able to lift up to 75 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
“What You’ll Do”
Periodic delivery, return delivery, set-up, and dismantling of modular buildingsCommunicate professionally with customers in regards to logistics of building placement and maintenance itemsMaintain contact with Operations Manager/Dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructionsLoad supplies and other set-up materialSet up and dismantle trailers and containersDelivery and pick up of office trailers and containersRepair, maintenance, cleaning, and service of building assetsDaily completion of DOT Hours of Service and/or Mileage Logs on days you drivePerform all work in accordance with established safety proceduresPhysical inspection of mobile office trailers and modular buildings Recommend and perform repairs in order for equipment to meet company standardsMaintain and organize inventory of repair and parts supplies Communicate needed supplies and specialty items to management Maintain shipping and receiving files as instructedMaintain the building fleet including painting hitches and trailers, placing new signs on trailers and containers, cleaning units with industrial strength products, and perform minor and major repairs as neededTroubleshoot and accurately identify maintenance problems and solutionsOperate service trucks and forklifts when needed to deliver parts or move equipment, and/or when maintenance of units is required Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and securedOther duties as assigned
