Visit our website at www.wicksconstruction.com **Job Description** CDL Driver or Concrete Finisher: This position is for a motivated person who is ready to learn everything to be successful in concrete construction. This job can lead to a very long and rewarding career. Applicants must have the ability to travel and work on the road 5 days a week. Company transportation will be provided from our office in Decorah to the job-sites located in the surrounding areas. Employees must have reliable transportation to arrive on time at the office to start work for the day or week on the road. Hotel rooms are also provided for employees when job-sites are located more than 1 hour drive from our Decorah office. The typical concrete construction season in Iowa runs from April 1 st through December 1 st . **Duties** _CDL Drivers:_ + Driving CDL Vehicle if or when necessary for work duties + Haul Equipment behind Pick-up and Trailer, on flatbed straight truck, or semi tractor and trailer with proper CDL Class. + Haul materials in Dump Truck or Semi Side-Dump with proper CDL Class. + Work with concrete construction crews as needed when driving and hauling is not needed. Work along side laborers, finishers when necessary. + Operate Equipment if valid experience is shown. _Experienced Concrete Finishers:_ + Setting and stripping concrete forms for paving, curbs, floors, footings and walls. + Grade rock and dirt for fine grading before pours, use shovels and rakes with crew as needed. + Shovel and Rake Concrete as needed with Laborer to complete Pours + Finish concrete for floors, driveways, paving and walls. + Building and finishing Curb and Gutter + Trowel Finishing Floors + Sawing concrete + Learning to run all types of equipment + Operate Equipment if valid experience is shown. **Benefits** + Health Insurance + Dental Insurance and Benefit + Employer Paid Life Insurance + 401K / Retirement Benefits with Employer Profit Sharing Match + Company paid Hotels & Transportation from Decorah office to project job sites. + Will be home on weekends EOE/AA Employer – Women and Minorities are encourages to apply
