SUMMARY: Operate end dump truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.Hours: Monday-Friday: 7AM-3:30PM CSTTrucks: - Mack CV 713 8-Speed- 1998 Mack RD688 8-SpeedMonterey Sand9130 Monterey HighwayMonterey, TN 38574RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs daily preventative maintenance, record and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking and adding fluids as needed.Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.Assist maintenance with repairs as needed.Communicates and directs coworkers verbally either directly, tracking device or hand signals.Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading and operation to and from work site.Assists in training of co-workers as needed.Demonstrate a good knowledge in lock out/tag out procedures.Required to follow all safety policies and procedures.Performs other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS:Possess a Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL), or better.
