Job Description

Driver pay range based on specific route.

MONDAY - FRIDAY NIGHTS (6PM - TYPICALLY 3AM / when route is complete) | Average stops per route 8. Average miles per night-400.

Position Overview:

The CDL Truck Driver (Class A) is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to and from various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong communication skills and the ability to handle freight effectively.

Responsibilities Include:

Safety Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Transport goods to and from distribution centers, stores, and other locations as assigned.Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety and prevent damage.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.Adhere to all safety protocols and company polices, including hours-of-service regulations.   Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license with hazmat endorsement and a clean driving record.Minimum of 2+years of experience driving commercial vehicles (Class A).Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Class-A is required.Minimum of 2+years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferable with similar-sized trucks.Experience with load securement and safe transportation of goods/products preferred.Knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA safety standards
