About the opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.

Amentum are currently recruiting a CDM Adviser who will be required to support the Client Principal Designer (PD) Duty Holder on a major design and construction project, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and providing leadership on the deployment of the CDM2015 Principal Designer duties. Key responsibilities will be\:
Co-ordinate the development and maintenance of the Project Health & Safety File. Interface with stakeholders to ensure relevant information is obtained and included Assist with development of the Construction Phase Plan, ensuring inclusion of relevant pre-construction information Manage and chair relevant PD communication and co-ordination meetings and workshops Set up and manage suitable communication channels and mechanisms for PD related information Liaise with the client, other CDM duty holders and other stakeholders as appropriate, to ensure that all risks are effectively managed. Ensure design is carried out in line with the principles of prevention, ensuring residual significant risks are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
