Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will work directly within the Commercial Data & Analytics (CD&A) team at Amgen as a Commercial Insights Sr. Associate. The Senior Associate will be responsible for delivering HCP (Health Care Provider) and Patient primary market research and insights to the TEPEZZA brand team. The individual in this role will provide deep market understanding and practical outputs. The successful candidate is an excellent business partner and will guide others through complex processes in daily execution of primary market research, as well as developing the long-term insight generation plan to support marketing and sales teams. Acting as an internal consultant to those teams, the communication and interpersonal skills of this person will set them apart from others and blend seamlessly with their technical ability to implement primary market research, both qualitative and quantitative. You will find the “So What” in the data and that responsibility will be important. **Flexible Commuter role to Deerfield, IL office. You will work on-site 2-3 days a week** . + Implement primary market research projects, understanding the needs of the research sponsors and contributing to building the insight generation plan required to meet those needs + Support key annual activities including Executive Reviews, Brand Planning, Budgeting and reason support by providing objective insights + Work to translate primary market research findings into practical insights and be able to influence the team’s decision making accordingly + Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional partners and external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective insights generation + Improve team capabilities by researching and implementing new research tools, internal and external standard methodologies, etc. **What we expect of you** We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The professional we seek is an analytical and data driven individual with these qualifications. **Basic Qualifications:** Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of primary market research experience, data analytics and or consulting experience OR Associate’s degree and 6 years of primary market research experience, data analytics and or consulting experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of primary market research experience, data analytics and or consulting experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Consulting experience within the pharma space + Expertise in the area of pharma primary market research techniques + Analytical skills and the ability to take complex information sets and translate them to practical outcomes + Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain sophisticated concepts and critical findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management + Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions + Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups **What you can expect of us** As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
