Mettre à jour des documents tels que des guides et des listes de contacts.Assister l’équipe du CDP lors d’évènements de recrutement (ex. : mise en place de la nourriture et des boissons, disposition des affiches, orientation des participants, etc.)Aider le CDP à coordonner le programme nommé « Juriste d’un jour » qui bonifie le programme actuel de mentorat. Les principales tâches en lien avec ce programme seront :Identifier et entrer en contact avec les membres de notre communauté diplômée pour les inviter à participer en tant que mentor.Préparer le formulaire de candidature et le communiquer aux étudiant.e.s.Sélectionner les étudiant.e.s et les jumeler avec les mentors.Communiquer avec les étudiant.e.s et les mentors tout au long de la tenue du programme.Collecter les articles de blogue des étudiant.e.s participant.e.s.Produire un court rapport à la fin du programme.Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.La personne sélectionnée travaillera jusqu'à 5 heures/semaine de janvier à avril 2025.Il est possible que le contrat soit prolongé au printemps et/ou reconduit lors de l’année académique 2025-2026.McGill Law’s Career Development Office (CDO) is looking for a student to carry out a variety of administrative tasks to support the many services offered to the student community. Under the supervision of the CDO Manager, the incumbent will be called upon to assist the CDO team by performing some or all of the tasks listed below:
Update documents such as guides and contact lists.Assist the CDO team at recruitment events (e.g.: setting up food and beverages, arranging posters, orienting participants, etc.)Help the CDO coordinate the “Day in the Life” program, which enhances the current mentorship program. The main tasks related to this program will be :Identify and contact alumni to invite them to participate as mentors.Prepare the application form and communicate it to students.Select students and match them with mentors.Communicate with students and mentors throughout the pilot project.Collect blog posts from participating students.Produce a short report at the end of the pilot project.Perform any other related task.The selected person will work up to 5 hours/week from January to April 2025.It is possible that the contract will be extended in the spring and/or renewed in the 2025-2026 academic year.Minimum Education and Experience:
