Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 **Location:** Hoffman Estates, IL **Duration:** 4 Months with possibility to extend/convert **Day Shift:** 12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat) **What's the Job?** + Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description. + Support electrical infrastructures throughout the datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones. + Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and conducting Power Interruption Testing (PIT). + Perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns and PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements. + Maintain a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code and ensure compliance. **What's Needed?** + All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification. + Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers or hospitals. + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. + 5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls). + Able to work a flexible schedule which may include 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment. + Engagement in projects that have a significant impact on critical infrastructure. + Professional development and growth opportunities within the organization. + Collaborative team culture that values diverse perspectives. + Chance to enhance your skills in a cutting-edge technical field.
