CE Track Faculty Position, Genitourinary Cancers - Assistant Professor

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of genitourinary cancer. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents, and medical students. Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to provide education, mentorship, and research support to hematology/oncology fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with genitourinary cancer, including prostate, bladder, testicular, and renal malignancies in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include an ability of the selected candidate to develop and grow an independent research program in translational genitourinary oncology. Evidence of scholarship is required on the clinician educator track.
