Come join our team where benefits start on day 1. **A Day in the Life of a Packaging Technician:** Our Celeste Packaging Technician will be responsible for Food Safety and Quality Assurance by monitoring line speed and efficiency, tracking and maintaining inventory levels and communicating with all areas of the department. You will be responsible for all essential duties encompassed in the packaging supply areas. You must follow all OSHA and Plant Safety rules and report directly to the department supervisor. This is an onsite position in a food manufacturing facility with hot and cold temperatures. #LI-Onsite **You Will:** + Able to operate and troubleshoot the wrapper, case packer, and cartoner + Change the film roles + Get supplies and raw materials and enter data into the computer + Clean and sanitize all packaging equipment, including freezers, according to GMPs + 1st Level troubleshooting on freezer issues + Learn to calibrate, test, and adjust the X-Ray machine and take appropriate actions when it is not working correctly + Fill out paperwork to track production, quality, downtime, and other requirements and enter data in the appropriate computer programs + Perform all quality and weight checks, review line speeds, and make necessary adjustments + Accomplish Master Sanitation (MSS) tasks + Help coordinate schedules, department startups, shutdowns, and cleaning + Actively seek ways to improve the production processes + Explain product flow from the bakery to the warehouse + Participate in improvement teams such as Kaizen and TPM + Maintain inventory records and ensure rotation of materials for accurate traceability **You Have:** + Must have a GED or High School Diploma + Must be able to communicate clearly with others and document information with ease + Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and maintaining a Conagra Brands email account + Must follow all SOPs, SSOP's and GMPs for producing quality product; report deviations and take appropriate corrective measures + You will lift and move up to 70 pounds Anticipated Close Date: October 31, 2024 Location: Jackson, Tennessee **Our Benefits:** We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role: + Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insurance + Wealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase plan + Growth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaboration + Balance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunities **Our Company:** Conagra Brands is one of North America's leading branded food companies.
