About the role 

The Cellar and Continuous Improvement Manager manages all processes related to the incoming bulk wine deliveries, storage, and transfer to the production lines. As well as leading and facilitating lean improvement programs and activities. 

Lead the TWE DNA culture across Cellar operations at Sonoma Bottling Center.   Drive and maintain compliance with all company HSE Policies and safe work practices and take accountability to ensure workplace hazards are reported and resolved.  Drive and maintain compliance with all food safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate cross functionally with all SBC departments and the boarder Americas Supply Chain team to deliver SBC KPO’s.  Develop and deliver Opex and Capex budget commitments for cellar functions.  Develop and implement and manage efficient inbound processes for cellar functions.  Develop and implement cost savings initiatives for cellar functions . Initiate and facilitates lean six sigma improvement projects across the Sonoma Bottling facility by the use of techniques such as Kaizen, 5’S, TPM, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.  Teach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful project leadership.  Collaborate cross functionally with all SBC departments to develop Sonoma Bottling Center Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement program.

About you 

 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

BA/BS in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field Computer experience required. HACCP or ISO training a plus Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Black belt a plus 3-5 years of successful experience in similar field (Logistics, Cellar, Production, Maintenance, Planning) Leadership skills Demonstrated understanding of Continuous Improvement principles Demonstrated competency in enterprise software applications (JDE a plus) Demonstrated experience with supply chain planning or scheduling software applications.  Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Suite Ability to read or write Spanish a plus

 Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $87,000 to $100,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our St Helena location.  If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
