Under supervision of Shift Supervisor, monitors quality, performs housekeeping duties, routinely inspecting and lubricating machinery, collects measurements and samples.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform pre-shift area and equipment inspections daily for safety, maintenance and housekeeping, correcting problems as needed using best judgment or Process SupervisorMake daily rounds to inspect, lubricate plant machinery, and document machinery statusMonitor FM6 cement quality and assume responsibility for quality, work with operator to maintain this quality.Assist Finish Mill Control Room Operator as needed to maintain proper function of equipmentOperate bobcat & forklift as needed for cleanupPerform and assist with minor mill repairsCollect cement quality samples as neededMaintain a safe, clean work environment in keeping with MSHA and company rules and standardsPerform housekeeping dutiesOther duties as directed by supervisorMINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, and rain). Noise levels may reach maximum of 106 dba for a period of 5-10 minutes an hour. Must be able to work in conditions including the following: odors, dust, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, hazardous chemicals, and non-hazardous materials. For this job, the nature of these hazards cannot be controlled due to the job environment and job procedures. In this case, the type of safety equipment required is: company issued headgear, gloves, earplugs, steel-toed shoes or boots, safety glasses, respirators, lock-out. Must be able to work rotating shifts
