Position Summary

 Under supervision of Shift Supervisor, responsible for the staging areas for incoming fuel, the stationary processing equipment itself, mobile equipment required to support job duties, and the delivery equipment for fuel to the pyro process

 Job Responsibilities

Responds to the central control room operator needsPerform lockouts and release stored energy as requiredTroubleshoot equipmentLubricates equipmentPerforms repairs to equipmentKeeps the process area cleanKeeps the process area organized in the fieldResets 480V electrical equipmentConduct routine audits / inspection of the area in scopeSupplies whole tires, PEF and purchased chips to the process.Insure material flow is maintainedThoroughly understand the TDF reduction and handling processWrite work ordersOther duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements

High school diploma or GEDBehave in a manner consistent with the Midlothian Plant Code of Conduct.Be a self-starterMobile equipment skills - will have or be able to demonstrate within 120 daysSkid SteerLoaderForkliftYard muleTechnical Skills – will have or develop within a maximum 120 daysBasic Mechanical knowledgeWeldingRigging use of hoisting devices – slings, chokers , chain falls, come a longsUse all manner of hand tools

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time (up to 8 hrs.)Walk on all types of surfaces (uneven and/or slippery ground)Climb stairs and ladders as high as 200 feet in elevationPhysical ability to climb on equipmentMust be able to walk long distances, climb ladders, stairs, and stockpiles, stoop, and crawl under and into enclosed spacesAbility to see and hear safety indicators and warningsDrive automobile to various plant sites and work locations. Must be able to travel (air/auto) overnight as neededMust work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry and/or dusty conditions and near hot kiln processWill have exposure to all levels of noise that require use of hearing protectionExposure to cement, clay, limestone and various lab chemicals.  See MSDS for more details
