Cement Plant Operator

Our Cement team is looking for a full-time Cement Plant Operator to meet the interesting challenges of production operations at our busy 7 days a week cement plant at Pinkenba.

Duties

Operation of the cement plant (grinding mills & packaging lines) and mobile equipment (front end loaders, forklifts & excavators) Collect and analyse cement production samples Diagnose plant problems, instigate repairs and participate with maintenance staff as required Grease and clean mobile machinery Perform inspections on both fixed and mobile plant equipment Comply with Wagners Obligations under Chain of Responsibility

Skills and Experience

Forklift Licence (essential) Front End Loader experience (preferable) Proficient in using computers Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills Experience working in a continuous manufacturing workplace (preferable) Experience working on a rotating continuous shift roster (Preferable) Willingness to learn and a flexible 'can-do' attitude
