Center Placement Advisor
Overview Manages a caseload of approximately 70 student graduates and will advise and guide those students to ensure they obtain and retain for twelve months suitable employment. Services provided by the Center Placement Advisor will be "face to face" and all Placement Outcomes Measurement System (POMS) 10 goals related to post center measures will be expected to be attained. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience can be Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Relations, or Sales. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Prefer an additional three (3) years in a related field. Related experience can be Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Human Relations, or Sales. COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must have clerical and computer skills. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
