Responsibilities Position Summary

The CBO Manager is responsible for partnering in the overall revenue cycle management of a regional Central Billing Office (CBO) to ensure maximum cash flow and protect integrity of Concentra assets.

The DetailsIdentify, analyze, and manage all issues pertaining to proper billing, deposits, payment posting and collections of center accounts receivableCompile, analyze and present monthly accounts receivable reportsCoordinate and monitor month end closing procedures within the required time frameMaintain and reconcile all month end reports and additional schedulesReview and summarize timecards and payroll for direct staff and CBOPlan and coordinate special projectsIdentify reimbursement opportunities and issues in all markets the CBO servesSupport operations using the BCS/OccuSource systems by providing reports and requested informationIdentify and report staffing needs according to staffing model to the CBO Director and RVP of ReimbursementDevelop and maintain key working relationships with top clients/payers to ensure proper billing/collectionsMeet with and schedule regular meetings with payers and employers regarding billing issuesThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
