Job Description We are seeking a Central Office (CO) Technician with circuit provisioning experience to support our network operations. The CO Technician will be responsible for provisioning circuits, troubleshooting network issues, and providing supplemental support to the dispatching team during weekend customer installations. This role requires strong technical expertise in ADTRAN and Nokia Altiplano platforms, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure network reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive technician with strong communication skills. They must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, especially when identifying and resolving network issues. The ability to escalate problems efficiently and keep local leadership informed is essential to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Circuit Provisioning: Configure, set up, and wire circuits to maintain network infrastructure. Network Troubleshooting (10% of role): Perform Tier 2 remote troubleshooting for network issues and determine whether escalation to field technicians is necessary. Service Ticket Management: Review and resolve service tickets via Remedy, ensuring timely responses and solutions. Remote Support: Assist multiple markets, including Texas, by troubleshooting ADTRAN and/or Nokia Altiplano platforms. Weekend Dispatch Support: Collaborate with the dispatching team to coordinate customer installations, identify technicians, and facilitate dispatching processes.
