Description We are seeking a skilled Central Office Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and services in our central office. Key Responsibilities: + Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment (telephone lines, DSL, T1,T -40/T-40SR, RS232, Ethernet circuits). + Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. + Coordinate repair and maintenance activities with other technicians. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. + Document all work activities. Qualifications: + Associate degree or equivalent training in telecommunications or a related field. + Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and services. + Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Self motivated and open to travel.
