The Regional Leader is responsible for the comprehensive implementation of strategic direction to successfully lead and grow a Project & Development Services (PDS) in the Central Region. This role is responsible for the profitability, service quality, talent development, and strategic and tactical decisions for PDS in the specific region. They will act as a trusted business advisor and strategic partner to both internal and external clients, leading the sourcing, pitching, and securing of new business and projects within the region.Job Description
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and PlanningReport to the President of PDS, Americas and support operational models, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives to grow and enhance the business.Lead the strategic planning process for key project implementation, communicating project strategies with high impact, clear targets, measurable outcomes, and a high likelihood of successful implementation.Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the various geographic market leaders and key clients to ensure a high level of execution and client satisfaction is being achieved. Align the C&W service delivery model to meet and exceed performance objectives.Business Development and Client RelationsLead business development activities to meet annual business growth objectives including the targeting of key prospects/clients, the creation of powerful proposals and presentations and the execution of the agreement.Establish a strong partnership with key local / regional internal stakeholders across service lines to source new clients and expand current customer share.Partner with PDS Leadership, Marketing, and other service line leaders to develop significant and sustainable business development plans, thought leadership, and communicating priorities in line with PDS strategy.
Operational Excellence and Risk ManagementLead the implementation of robust regional standards for delivery, risk management, and assurance processes to ensure risks are clearly identified and well-managed.Enhance customer and stakeholder insight by gathering information from clients and project teams, assisting in the delivery of initiatives to provide outstanding customer service, and using this insight to shape Cushman & Wakefield’s PDS Standard Operating Procedures.Work in partnership with other region leaders to ensure consistent client service delivery across geographies
Financial ManagementOversee all aspects of strategic and financial planning for the region. Develop the annual business plan and operating budget; complete monthly and/or quarterly results, as directed.Manage the P&L of the business unit to ensure appropriate reporting, allocation, and reconciliation of service line finances.Oversee a portfolio with complex initiatives that may span multiple business lines.
Talent/People ManagementOversee and manage the effective recruitment, selection, performance management and retention of employees to create the best teams to carry out the business line and company’s vision and goalsRecruit, select, train, motivate and lead Market Leaders and other talent in assigned region.Act as a role model for Cushman & Wakefield DRIVE values (Driven, Resilient, Inclusive, Visionary, Entrepreneurial).Regularly assess talent for performance and potential, develop plans for performance improvement or career growth and work closely with HR Business Partner to identify and mitigate issues.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
