Job Summary:

The Central Reservations Lead Agent supports the Central Reservations team in providing exceptional service for Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley National Park and Zion Lodge in Zion National Park. This role acts as the first point of contact for Central Reservation Agents, assisting with system navigation, policies, and guest inquiries before escalating to the manager. The Lead Agent also specializes in key areas such as group reservations, inventory management, or guest services and helps drive sales and service excellence within the team. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Perform all Central Reservations Agent duties based on call volume and workload.

Serve as a go-to resource for Agents, providing guidance on products, systems, and policies. 

Support reservation accuracy, guest service issue resolution, and sales and service goals. 

Conduct ongoing training and mentoring, assisting with reservation accuracy, system proficiency, and sales techniques. 

Promote a sales culture by assisting with scripts, product knowledge, and service strategies. 

Track and report sales and accuracy metrics for both individual agents and the department. 

Assist with special campaigns, projects, and initiatives as directed by leadership. 

Maintain the Central Reservations intranet, ensuring up-to-date and well-organized information. 

Perform daily opening and closing procedures and contribute to a seamless service flow between departments. 

Support contests, agent pacing, and incentive programs to drive performance. 

Adapt to new responsibilities as needed to meet the evolving needs of the department. 

Other duties as assigned. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

2-4 years of experience in a customer service, reservations, or call center role preferred. 

Experience with hospitality, travel, or resort operations is a plus. 

Proficiency in using a reservation or property management system preferred. 

Ability to operate a computer efficiently, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. 

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information to guests. 

Dependable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

Professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. 

Work Schedule: 

Specific Shift: Current Operation hours are 9 am - 6 pm 7 days a week.  

Rotating schedule, weekends and holidays are required. Except for New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas   

Open 362 days a year. 

Travel Requirements: 

0-10% as required
