Responsibilities:
Primary function is to schedule patients for out-patient diagnostic testing. Physician offices will call or utilize order facilitator to schedule procedures, The scheduler will then complete the process in a timely and courteous manner. Monitors orders and pre-certifications on a daily basis to assure physician office satisfaction. Maintains a high quality of customer service.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year hospital/medical office experience required. A good understanding of medical terminology and Imaging procedures required. Knowledge of computers and other standard office equipment required. Minimum of 6 months customer service required. Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute required
