Key responsibilities of this role include:
Answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.Making sure patient have pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Works closely with providers and other dept.Can work well alone on assigned duties.Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Key qualifications to be considered for this include:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.At least 1 year of healthcare related experience.Previous medical scheduling preferred.Phone etiquette and customer satisfaction a must.
