Central Scheduling Timekeeping Coordinator Team Lead

**Job Description:**
This position acts as a team lead over the region or facility Scheduling Timekeeping Coordinators (STCs) teams. Responsible for office activities and projects along with specialized support for multiple directors / managers, multiple departments, multiple sites, or multiple functions. Represents the facility or region on central staffing practices in conjunction with the Central Staffing Office manager.
+ Takes ownership in planning, organizing, implementing, and accomplishing department day-to-day functions and goals to relieve and assist the manager of complex details and advanced administrative duties. Identifies improvements to be implemented in processes, office organization, and workflow.
+ Independently investigates assigned problems, determining methods of research, data, and information requirements as well as analysis techniques. Tactfully handles difficult situations with staff and customers while remaining positive and professional. When needed, escalate issues to the appropriate manager/ director.
+ Evaluates the performance of Scheduling Timekeeping Coordinators (STCs) including quality monitoring, customer satisfaction, attendance, orientation, on-boarding, and continuing education completion.
+ Maintains expert knowledge of scheduling and timekeeping / payroll procedures and reports. Acts as a resource to staffers, charge nurses and managers.
+ Takes ownership for and oversees all administrative functions including delegating assignments and ensuring work completion. Ensure scheduling and timekeeping procedures and policies are followed.
+ Identifies educational needs and establishes continuing education offerings for region / facility managers, caregivers, and staffing team.
+ Is the region / facility representative for the central office staff scheduling system committee. Participates and leads region / facility groups as assigned. Monitors compliance to central staffing best practice guidelines.
+ Is the region/facility project co-lead for the staff scheduling system implementation working under the direction of the department manager. Partners with the appropriate team to ensure successful implementation and support to departments as they transition to the workforce scheduling system. Ensures the continuation of on-going support.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Demonstrated experience and expertise using advanced computer skills. Examples are complex formatting, formulas, creating charts and graphs, data manipulation, creating and running reports, creating presentations, and using multimedia content. Expert computer user with experience trouble shooting and teaching others.
+ Demonstrated experience and expertise using complex staff scheduling experience.
+ Demonstrated experience and expertise with leadership responsibilities. Examples include providing training to others on their job duties, coordinating the work of others, coordinating projects, acting as a team lead, or directly supervising others.
+ Demonstrated interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including being proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and other English language skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Three years of experience demonstrating the requirements listed above.
+ Experience with the direct supervision of others to include hiring responsibilities, performance evaluation and coaching, along with constructive action.
+ Experience working in a healthcare setting.
+ Experience with timekeeping processing.
+ Experience with scheduling applications.

+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc **.**

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$23.30 - $35.48
