CENTRAL SERVICES NURSE MANAGER
The starting rate for this position is: $30.32/Hr Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. Job Description + Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. + Oversees coordination of lead clinical support staff schedule ensuring appropriate coverage. + Assists with oversight of clinical competency completion and adherence. + Coordinates orientation and training of new clinical staff in collaboration with IMG management. + Evaluates and conducts performance appraisals for lead clinical support staff in collaboration with Manager/Director. + Sets clear performance expectations for clinical staff. + Provides coaching and motivation to lead MA’s to meet goals. + Expedites patient flow, communication and follow up care. + Evaluates effectiveness of current systems and makes recommendations for changes to enhance achievement of practice objectives. + Performs all duties required of a Registered Nurse (RN) in the ambulatory setting. + Oversees and coordinates daily operations of patient flow. + Responsibility for training and partnering with clinical support staff and providers with regard to EMR workflows; and represent the department(s) for suggested improvements, upgrades and workflows. + Introduces new workflows, clinical procedures and policies to clinical support. + Audits documentation compliance of clinical support staff. + Performs or delegates required quality controls/test controls/ proficiency testing. + Maintains compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Demonstrates collaboration with support/coverage within the practice network. + Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize work to expedite patient care. + Demonstrates a commitment to maintain competency in those activities which contribute to ongoing professional development and those required by department/organization policy. + Other duties as consistent with this role. Requirements Education - 4 year College (Bachelor's Degree) Experience - 1-3 years (minimum 2 years experience preferred) License - Licensed in the State of Maine as RN preferred.
