Are you an experienced Sterile Processing Technician looking for a new opportunity? CHP North Surgery Center is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team. We offer a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for experienced techs with at least 2 years of sterile-specific experience! Eligibility varies. 

Position Details:

Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. While our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, there may be occasional needs for weekend work, including Saturdays. We strive to provide advance notice for any weekend shifts and appreciate your flexibility and commitment to meeting our business needs. Perks: No evenings, holidays, or call. Role Overview: As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our instruments are clean and sterilized properly. You will work closely with the OR Charge Nurse to determine instrumentation needs for the next day’s schedule. The title and pay rate will be tailored to your experience and skills, providing opportunities for growth and development.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Censitrac and AccuSink is a plus, but not required. At least 1 year of CSP experience is preferred (candidates without this will not be considered).

Responsibilities:

Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing. Conforms and adheres to department policies concerning decontamination, sterile processing, infection control and safety. Maintains a working knowledge of, and is able to effectively troubleshoot, all decontamination/sterilization equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required to meet emergency situations Demonstrates knowledge of performance improvement tools and techniques. Continuously improves the quality of care and the work environment of outcomes and the integration of research and best practices into daily work. Shares learning from improvements with other units and/or spreads across the business unit or system. Practices solid verbal and written communication skills and is able to articulate and translate to other care providers and to negotiate and make recommendations for changes in unit practices Documentation is comprehensive and promotes communication between caregivers.
