Overview Mirabella ASU is seeking a dynamic and detail orientated Central Supply and Scheduling Coordinator for our health services department! This position is responsible for scheduling all nursing staff in the Health Services department (SNF, Assisted Living, Memory Care) and ensuring there are no missed shifts. This position also handles time clock payroll entry, staff orientation scheduling and uniform ordering for Health Services. Mirabella is home to more than 370 residents who have access to a wide array of amazing amenities and care services. As part of the continuum of care, Mirabella has a 21 bed Skilled Unit and a 20 bed memory care unit located on the second floor – both serve both existing residents and the Tempe community at large. Our residents have access to highly personalized care with 21 Private Suites/Bathrooms and a newly constructed environment (Completed in August 2020)! To learn more about us - click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr-Pf7KbfNI Job Duties: Develops and coordinates staffing schedules for all Skilled Nursing staff and licensed caregivers. Communicates staffing needs to Healthcare Administrator and Director of Nursing and any overtime or agency use associated with shortages. Contacts staff to replace personnel who have called in sick or are absent. Assist in facilitating new hire orientation across all departments in healthcare. Review and explain policies and procedures to new hires. Ensure completion of new hire paperwork. Assists with Etime and missed punch slips. Uphold patient privacy and safety at all times. Receives all requested scheduling changes and coordinates the staffing with the caregiver who is the best match for the resident. About You: Central Supply experience Ideally you will possess excellent phone and customer service skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Must be proficient in MS Office including Excel. Great communication skills on both the phone and in writing. Willingness to work in a fast paced and ever-changing healthcare environment. Outgoing and professional personality, you'll be interacting with our staff members and residents on a daily basis! Ability to work with tight deadlines while having a sense of urgency. CNA License and or experience is preferred. Experience working in a senior living facility or long term care as a CNA or Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator.
