BASIC FUNCTION: The Central Supply
Clerk works closely with the Ancillary Billing Coordinator to facilitate
receipt and distribution of supplies. This associate is responsible for
maintaining the stock room.

• Persons who have been found guilty by a
court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care
related setting are ineligible for employment in this position.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and
compliance requirements.
• Freedom from illegal use of drugs.

drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
• Working knowledge of personal computer and
software applications used in job functions, (word processing, graphics,
databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills;
oral and written communication skills.
Education

ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support
Services:
• Assist with supply check-in at the time of
delivery and verify against purchase orders.
• Forward purchase orders and packing slips to
Accounts Payable.
• Distribute supplies to appropriate
locations.
• Maintain a cost requisition system.
• Assure that the stock room is clean, safe
and orderly.
• Mark all appropriate supplies for use with
the TRIAD inventory system.
• Obtain data on chargeable supplies used by
each resident and transfer the information into the TRIAD system daily.
• Assist with daily and monthly physical
inventory.
• Demonstrates satisfactory level of
interpersonal skills to interact with facility staff, Administration,
residents, families, vendors and government agencies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the
rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
• Understands the importance of and respect
for the rights dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
• Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all
times in the care and use of resident and facility property.
