Central Supply Distribution Technician

Working under the direct supervision of a Lead/Supervisor, Distribution Technician II is expected to work individually and as part of a team, responsible for issuing and delivery of supplies, equipment and meeting Department productivity goals throughout the Medical campuses. Qualified Caregivers may rotate into a front desk and/or lead position. Caregivers may also rotate into mail room and/or courier. Requires extreme attention to detail, a strong ability to follow procedures and work with numbers, plus an ability to work with a wide range of supplies and people under sometimes stressful circumstances. Utilizes computer, pallet jacks and other similar heavy duty materials handling equipment to locate, determine levels and move supplies under sometimes stressful circumstances.

Preferred Qualification:

1 year of relevant experience in a warehouse/retail environment, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used.
