Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Responsible for cleaning processing assembly and distribution of supplies and equipment to multiple hospital departments. Maintains inventory control and supply ordering. Maintains the Central Service work environment and supplies within accepted practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
One year in Central Service Certification is requiredEducation or experience as a Central Service Technician and certification is requiredMust have a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CT CST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CT SPT) certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have the ability to read write and speak English and an understanding of numerical systemsUnderstanding of TJC infection control requirements for processing and sterilizationSpecial Skills:
Candidate will learn various instrumentation inventory control practices and utilization of an inventory software system Attention to detail is a must. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
