As a Centralized Access Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centralized Access team, ensuring adherence to all departmental policies, procedures, and state and federal guidelines. This role is essential in supporting the team’s alignment with strategic initiatives and providing effective management for Centralized Access Coordinators. Our ideal candidate has experience in customer service, medical office oversight, and familiarity with healthcare policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure professional and technical operation of the Centralized Access team and adherence to policies and procedures.
Supervise, coach, and develop Centralized Access Coordinators, managing productivity and performance.
Monitor and report Point-of-Service (POS) collections, Slide Application activities, and Chart Review outcomes.
Handle after-hours crisis messages in collaboration with Behavioral Health Response (BHR).
Oversee administrative tasks such as mail collection, sorting vendor invoices, and approving payments to Accounts Payable.
Collaborate with billing to address front-end issues and ensure clean claims for processing.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers, adhering to the agency's Code of Ethics.
Provide administrative support to clinical staff in completing necessary documentation.
Communicate strategic initiatives, encourage participation from all team members, and maintain confidentiality of business information and PHI as required by HIPAA.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Health Management, or a related field preferred
High School Diploma or GED and at least four years of experience in customer service, medical terminology, insurance procedures, and POS collections (required)
AAHAM Certification or obtain within 12 months of employment
One year of experience in medical office oversight preferred
Required License/Certification (one of the following):
AAHAM Certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
Additional Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of confidentiality laws and healthcare program regulations
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
