Job Summary:

As a Letter of Credit Operations Manager in the Wealth Management and Private Bank Americas team, you will lead and support the letter of credit business. You will establish a centralized team for global transactions and collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient credit processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Establish and manage a centralized team for letter of credit activities. Oversee creation and negotiation of letter of credit text in compliance with ISP 98 and UCP. Review and recommend risk mitigation strategies for issued letters of credit. Participate in client meetings to discuss letter of credit regulations and structures. Provide oversight to analysts during text negotiation with clients and advisors. Coordinate with Global Trade Services and Lending Solutions to meet deadlines. Partner with Lending Solutions to integrate terms into the corporate credit platform. Ensure accurate linkages between Corporate Credit Systems and other platforms. Coordinate loan closings and letter of credit issuances with internal and external parties. Manage global approval for cross-LOB requests and ensure accurate risk allocations. Provide training and develop materials for letter of credit education.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask and reprioritize work effectively. Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to interact with various organizational levels. Self-starter with task recognition and completion skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Letter of Credit product knowledge. Understanding of credit concepts and FX participations/syndications. Experience with Credit Risk Infrastructure tools and applications. Data mining skills.
