Provide campus and district support to the Campus LPAC Administrator, Multilingual Director and Multilingual Compliance Coordinator. Complete all compliance reports for the assigned campuses and ensure the execution of LPAC guidelines and processes to identify, place, review, reclassify and monitor Emergent Bilinguals and Dual Language Students.
Education/Certification:
60 or more college hours, Microsoft Office and Google Suite intermediate knowledge or higher, ability to read, write and speak Spanish ?uently, ability to multitask throughout the day. Experience with LPAC or Emergent Bilinguals preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Complete all LPAC documents for assigned campuses. Monitor student enrollment to ensure the identification and placement of possible EB students within the state required guidelines. Provide support to campus LPAC administrators and ML Compliance Coordinator Participate in the administration of identification and reclassification EB testing within the state required guidelines. Attend campus LPAC meetings and trainings. Keep ML Director and EL Compliance Specialist informed and aware of campus LPAC needs or requests. Communicate with parents of EBs Assist with struggling EBs in small groups Other duties, as assigned
