Summary/Objective: The Centralized Scheduler will oversee, facilitate and manage scheduling activities across multiple nursing homes and or assisted living facilities to ensure efficient and effective use of resources. This role involves coordinating schedules according to census for all departments within the assigned facilities of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Generating schedules timely and accurately for multiple centers. Assists in identifying open positions for optimum staffing levels based on census/PPD. Review previous, current and future staffing patterns with center leadership. Reviews staffing requirements/hiring needs. Complies with laws and regulations applicable to position and acts in accordance with all North Shore Healthcare policies, processes and compliance program. Resolving scheduling conflicts. Managing internal staff schedules. Open and timely communication with center leadership. Ensuring all hours are captured in PBJ. Safety Knows and follows center rules Follows center dress and hygiene policies Demonstrates proper use of equipment. Reports equipment needs or repairs Follows center smoking policies Reports and documents any incidents or accidents of residents, staff or visitors to the appropriate center personnel Reports all hazardous conditions/equipment to Supervisor Performs duties, which may include transportation of residents, as assigned in Center Disaster Plan Uses required protective equipment Follows infection control standards, policies and procedures Resident Rights Knows Resident Rights.
