Based in our SIDNEY, OHIO location, you will perform daily tasks centered in and the around the Centrifugal laboratories to help complete engineering project assignments. Your focus will be on handling parts, staging parts, updating records, verifying stock levels, customer shipments, and other related tasks that will help improve and develop solutions with compressor technologies for HVACR customers. You will effectively communicate with peers and engineering partners to take proper actions for success. You will support the Centrifugal product group and will assist with supporting shipping and receiving related tasks. You will also be involved in Safety+5S, & other improvement practices. + **AS A MATERIAL** **COORDINATOR, YOU** **WILL:** + Adhere to all corporate and laboratory safety standards and policies, including all EPA regulations + Move compressors, parts, and hardware to and from areas or to permanent storage areas. + Maintain and upkeep storage equipment, areas, and workspaces. + Prepare and ship compressors and hardware to international and state side locations. + Assist in processing of lab refrigerants. + Operate laboratory vertical lift (storage) machines while adding and removing items and components from each. + Maintaining accurate inventory records. + Stage parts per engineering requests. + Operate material handling equipment such as fork trucks, lifts, and manual material handling equipment. + Creating or modifying spreadsheets, analyzing engineering lab inventory records, requesting part orders, and maintaining stock + Meet the physical demands of the position which include manipulation of average to heavy weights (weight range up to 50 lbs.), standing for extended periods of time, use of associated equipment needed for common assembly work, packaging, shipping, and receiving. + Communicate with team members and others regarding parts, hardware, compressors, or other items. + Collaborate and work in both a team environment and individually. + Other duties and tasks relative to supporting engineering labs and workflow. **REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:** + High School Diploma + Ability to make deliveries while driving company vehicles + Tow motor experience + Excellent organizational skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work in a team environment and independently + Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook + Adhere to all corporate and laboratory safety standards and policies, including all EPA regulations + Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role **PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:** + Material handling experience + Refrigerant handling experience.\#LI-QR1 **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
