**•** **Together team model shifts responsibility to a 3 person-team. (bedside RN, partner CNA) and virtual RN.**
**•** **Model brings added patient safety, expertise, and mentoring to bed side and leverages technology**
**Description:**
+ _CNA provides quality nursing care to patients; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations._
+ _The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) may be assigned to function in either the Health Unit Coordinator or Nursing Assistant role._
**Responsibilities:**
+ _Provides assistance with activities for daily living including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility_
+ _Assists patient with procedures/care (prosthetic device, sitz baths, catheter care, toileting, enemas, rectal bags, colostomy care, cold compresses)._
+ _Applies products appropriately (anti-embolism stockings, sequential compression devices, restraints, monitors)._
+ _Sets up respiratory and cardiac equipment (Oxygen, incentive spirometry, suction, EKGs, cardiac electrodes)._
**_What you will need:_**
**Required:**
+ _Certification as a nursing assistant by the Maryland Board of Nursing_
+ _High school diploma_
+ _BLS Certification_
**Preferred:**
+ _1 year of hospital experience._
**Pay Range-$17.03-$23.85**
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
