About the Role
Mastercard Open Banking Product Operations Team is seeking a Certificate Management Engineer (Public Key Infrastructure PKI)

As a member of our Open Banking Key Management Team, the role is pivotal in enabling and maintaining the connectivity of our Clients with Account Servicing Payment Service Providers. Your work supports our Open Banking Client Digital Certificate Management function, which is essential to both the technical onboarding and ongoing Day-2 support activities.

In this role, the key responsibilities are:
•\tOpen Banking Certificate Onboarding and Renewal
o\tSupport our Customer Delivery Team in onboarding our new clients on to our service
o\tTrack certificates due for renewal; Plan, execute, and complete the renewal work effectively and efficiently
o\tPerform the certificate onboarding and renewal technical procedures in adherence to change management and standard operating governance processes; Update procedures and processes as necessary; Troubleshoot and resolve issues
o\tDeliver onboarding and renewal implementations as per the agreed requirement; Meet or beat Time to Implement targets
o\tClosely liaise with Internal Teams, Clients, and Providers; Escalate promptly issues and blockers identified during the implementation
•\tAssist our Customer Support Team with connectivity issues relating to Client Digital Certificates
•\tMaintain the Client Open Banking Certificate Inventory, work log, knowledge base, and standard operating procedures and processes documents, ensure information are accurate and up to date
•\tCommunicating with internal and external stakeholders and keeping them informed is part of your daily work
•\tSupport the Product Operations Manager with other operational activities as required

Essential Technology Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1.\tSkilful with the use of configuration management tools and processes such as GIT tools and processes, JSON/ YAML code changes, pull-request (PR), merge, review process, debugging
2.\tExperience in using the Windows/IOS/Linux command line to create and execute instructions
3.\tExperience in OpenSSL
4.\tKnowledgeable with the use of Enterprise Monitoring Tools to carry out post implementation verification such as Splunk; and the use of Service Management Tools such as BMC Remedy, Service Cloud
5.\tAn understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) Service Operations Processes such as Change, Incident, Problem Management
6.\tKnowledgeable and experience with Cryptography, Digital Certificates and Keys, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Signing Requests (CSR), Certificate Authorities, OAUTH, TLS Lifecycles, Basic Networking, HTTS error codes
7.\tAdopts DevOps principles and related technologies

Desirable Competencies
1.\tPrevious work experience in Open Banking in a technical role
2.\tKnowledge of Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS); Security solutions such as Key Vault, HSMs
3.\tFamiliar with the UK and EU eIDAS regulation, PSD2, digital certificate policies, requirements and use in Open Banking i.e. OBSEAL, OBWAC, QSEAL, QWAC
4.\tContinuous service and process improvements; experience with automation technologies (Python Scripting)
