Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentTwo-year associates degree or equivalent administrative experience is required. Basic computer and systems knowledge including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook. Aptitude to read and interpret production orders and procedure manuals.Ability to work a full-time schedule, rotating shifts and mandatory overtime.​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred: 

Proficiency in using laboratory management systems (Wavefront LIMS) and SAP.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to operate standard office equipment, including scanners and copiers.Familiarity with maintaining and monitoring climate conditions in archive rooms.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certification Clerk to support our lab operations at our location in Niles, OH. The successful candidate will utilize our unique lab inventory system (Wavefront LIMS) to create and manage certifications, distribute various documents and reports, and ensure efficient filing and distribution of paperwork. Additionally, the candidate will monitor and maintain the archive room's climate conditions and uphold a safe and organized workstation in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize Wavefront LIMS to create pre-typed and final certifications for customer products.Type and distribute test reports, letters, metallurgical reports, government forms, specifications, and comments.Ensure proper distribution of reports, forms, and other documents.Operate scanners and e-mail systems to disseminate information throughout the plant.Maintain an orderly filing system for Lab Release packets, Ingot Release documents, completed travel cards, and Ingot DTA testing records.Prepare shipments of documents for long-term storage as required.File correspondence, reports, and miscellaneous paperwork.Mail correspondence or test samples as directed by supervision.Create and distribute copies as necessary.Use SAP to create digital copies of packing lists or print documents as needed.Retrieve and distribute ordered supplies from lab or shipping drop-off locations.Monitor and log temperature and humidity levels in the archive room.Maintain a safe and organized workstation, adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.
