The Athletic Trainer will be a cornerstone of the day-to-day clinic operations for a very busy team specializing in complex surgeries. The ATC will serve the medical practice in a variety of duties including but not limited to: welcoming patients, initial evaluation, administrative duties, medical history, communicating analysis with PAs and the surgeon, managing phone inquiries and returning patient calls, perioperative patient care, and rehab/treatment planning. Time will be divided between the clinic and administrative tasks centered on patient care, though may have operating room responsibilities (depending upon experience).

Compensation: hiring range starts at $63,000 annually, for residency-trained certified ATC

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Administrative duties including, but not limited to filling out patient's FMLA paperwork, scheduling patient appointments, voicemails and phone calls, handling telehealth calls, ordering injections, and communicating with physical therapists.Using a multidisciplinary team approach, evaluate and document injuries of clients upon intake.Communicate with patients, physician and health care professionals on a plan for optimal patient-centered care.Obtain patient history, perform physical exams, educate patients and answer questions, organize notes and radiographs, casting/splinting, DME fittingUse efficient professional skills to maximize patient’s positive office visit and clinical experience.Other duties as assigned. Requirements BOC Certification; National Athletic Trainer Association Membership (NATA); State of Colorado license required.Two years' experience, with at least 1 year exp. in a physician office setting, preferred. We offer an immersive training/education plan for any non-residency trained ATs that is required.Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.Bachelor's degree required in related field such as Sports Medicine, Athletic Training or life sciences.Excellent organization and communication skills required.Demonstrated problem solving and work flow management skills required.Benefits
