Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. What You Will Do

Highly skilled electrical and/or instrument technician who applies a broad level of process and electrical knowledge to maximize and, where possible, improve the efficiency of the overall production process.  These employees have met the qualifications of the company certification process. These workers mentor and train other workers.

 

Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction Perform preventive maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment (i.e. substations, power distribution systems, switchgear motors, motor controls, systems and components, process controls, instrumentation and pneumatic equipment) Provide leadership in areas such as safety, environmental, mentoring of new employees and apprentices, cost control, project management, KPI tracking and measurement, and proactive maintenance management processes Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring To Freeport

 

Five (5) years ofexperience in industrial electrical and/or instrumentation repair and maintenance Qualified under the company certification process Valid state driver's license Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

What We Offer You 

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $35.00 - $47.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.  What We Require
