Health Advocates Network is seeking a **Certified High school English teacher** to work at a Facility in **Laurel, MD.** This is a registry position with our company. **Pay Rate:** $40 / hour *W2 **Key Responsibilities:** + **Lesson Planning & Instruction:** Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cover reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature analysis. + **Assessment:** Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and class participation. + **Classroom Management:** Maintain a positive, respectful learning environment and manage student behavior. + **Student Support:** Provide individual or group tutoring to students who need extra help or enrichment. + **Curriculum Development:** Collaborate with other teachers to create and implement a cohesive curriculum. + **Communication:** Regularly update students and parents on progress, assignments, and any issues or concerns. + **Professional Development:** Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends. **Qualifications:** + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Certified High school English teacher** + Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. + State certification in Secondary English Education. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
