* Pay is $236.25 per hour plus $1.00 Shift Differential
* Sign on bonus of $300 after 6 months and $300 after 9 months (attendance and probationary policies apply).
*Hours for 2nd Shift are 2:00pm - 10:30pm with overtime and weekends as required

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Able to initiate and complete paperwork for checklists, write and completing work orders, and other documentation to perform required tasks through the site maintenance management system.Regularly performs preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance of mechanical and utilities equipment including but not limited to: cleaning, inspecting, diagnosing, replacement, setup, testing, and process improvements.Keeps the CMMS System up to date for work orders, preventative maintenance, equipment history, parts requisition, and job plans.Frequently uses a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and effective way.Maintains a clean and orderly work area always.Performs electrical troubleshooting with advanced knowledge of AC/DC, 230-volt, and 480-volt 3 phase systems.Supports production with process improvement.Will need to utilize a high level of mechanical skills and knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, and lubrication to work the following equipment: conveyors, gear boxes, motors, and packaging equipment. Establish and maintain a parts database within the CMMS system to maintain inventory and ensure parts are available for upcoming work.Understands the functionality of production equipment in assigned area.Mentors Level 1 and Level 2 Maintenance technicians.Indirectly mentors production employees (i.e. Line Leads and Machine Operators, etc.) on how to run production lines and equipment.Fabricates components as needed to ensure production line operation. Requires intermediate proficiency with a lathe, grinder, and drill to repair or fabricate jigs, fixtures and tools.Works positively with both maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems.Adheres to all safety rules (LOTO, confined space, hot work) and practices to ensure the safety of self and othersAll Plant employees are responsible for administering and following all Plant Safety, SQF, FSMA, Food Safety-HACCP, GMP, Food Quality, Food Defense and Food Fraud policies and programs always. Additionally, employees are responsible for reporting immediately if they are aware of any fraud issues/discrepancies.

Preferred Skills:

Requires intermediate proficiency with machining fixtures and tools.Has demonstrated strong knowledge in two or more of the following areas: electrical, electronics, machining, welding, fabricating.Has basic knowledge of the following: PLC’s, motors, drives, schematics, single phase and three phase motors, variable frequency drives, DC, etc.Demonstrated knowledge of PLC/Controls, troubleshooting.Knowledge of basic ladder logic.Has proficiency of hydraulics and blueprint reading.Ability to complete tasks both independently and work productively in a team setting.Possesses knowledge of electrical and mechanical knowledge of machine components used to repair production equipment.Verified knowledge of continuous improvement, 5S, maintenance reliability, and OEE.Knowledge, understanding, and ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Knowledge, understanding, and ability to follow Safety Rules and Practices.

Minimum Requirements: 

Minimum of 1 year in equivalent maintenance experience preferred. Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred
